A Picture Perfect 10
I know I've been bad about blogging lately. Things have been so hectic at work that usually when I come home it's all I can do to get dinner on the table and the baby in the bed. It's a real challenge being a working single mother. I'm trying to rise to the challenge, but I struggle with organization. I'm trying to discipine myself, but really God is disciplining me because here lately I have been facing challenges on all sides and I know that this is the Lord's way of getting my attention. I am of the school of thought that if God can't correct you in your circumstances then He'll correct you through your circumstances and right now my circumstances have me alert and God has my full attention.
Nevertheless, I managed to squeez this layout in of my niece Kayla. She is much older now than she appears in this picture, but for some reason these pictures just captured my heart. I love pics that capture kids just being kids. In this picture she is semi aware of the camera, but it doesn't stop her from being just who she is...a beautiful, wonderful, little girL Hope you all enjoy.

Happy Father's Day
Miss Kamrin decided that Father's Day was the perfect time to try out her card making skills. So with some help from Mommy she created this card. I think she did a great job.

Procrastination
Today I am seriously procrastinating. I want to try and make an easel card for this week's Mo's Digital Challenge blog, but procrastination has a firm grip on me. She's whining about the fact that I've never done one before and how I'd have to clean off the craft table before I could even begin, yadda, yadda, yadda....I'd better go get started before the next challenge gets posted and I'm still working on this one. Wish me Luck!

Mo's Digital Pencil 2 Challenge #34 Merge It
I'm so excited today to enter the Mo's Digital Digital Challenge #34 "Merge It". I merged Mo's digital images "Two Tasha" and "Birthday Fairy Dee". I used some old Chatterbox paper I had called "Tangerine Eyelet" and another striped design paper I found in my stash. The sentiment "Got Cake?" is from an Inkadinkadoo Clear Stamp set that I had on hand. I hope you all enjoy.

365 Days Challenge
I thought that today I would join the Wacky Wednesday Challenge #10 at the 365 Day Challenge blog. This is my first challenge that I am entering with that site and I am very happy with how it turned out. The challenge was use orange, blue, and purple.
I chose to use Denim Blue Posies patterned paper by DCVW, orange cardstock and ribbon that I had in my stash. I punched along the edge of the orange CS with the Martha Stewart Punch-around-the page eyelet design. I also used the Marvy retro flower punch to make the flower along with a jewel tone brad from my stash. The digital image is a freebie from Bugaboo Stamps and I used Prismacolor colored pencils to color the image. I am not a very polished cardmaker, but I am evolving, so I hope you all enjoy.
